Greater Destiny 253 strives to make a difference in the Tacoma/Pierce County area. We offer a significant amount of resources and support to uplift our community. We are dedicated to making a positive change.

When this gets a million views, I'm going to print out the stats and give them to the owner of this home. Random DIY signs are one of my favorite things. Think about it...what sort of intense need are these people satisfying when they decide the only course of action is to make their own signs and put them on public display? What's the story here? Why did they decide to have these face the 7-11 gas station? In all seriousness, I'm sure someone working in a mental health or suicide prevention field can make use of this stock photo.

Teens For Destiny

We provide educational, recreational, and leadership opportunities to help young people thrive. We are committed to helping young people reach their highest potential, gain confidence and learn how to influence their community positively.

Compassion Community Food Pantry

We provide food assistance for individuals and families in need. Our pantry offers wholesome groceries to help families get through tough times. We concentrate on essential nutritional aid.

Family Resiliency Services

We advocate for families in building strength and adapting to challenges. Our team offers guidance and resources to foster coping skills and improve family bonds, ensuring a supportive and resilient home environment.

Unity Against Violence

We offer initiatives focused on reducing violence in our community through educational workshops, conflict resolution training, and support services for affected individuals.

Senior Empowerment and Wellness Programs

We offer programs that empower seniors by promoting empathy and compassion for the senior community. We advocate for seniors to stay active, engaged, and independent.

Creative Healing: Integrating Music and Art Therapy

We integrate music and art therapy to help individuals express themselves. Our sessions support emotional well-being through creative practices, fostering a safe space for healing and personal growth.
